KHEOPS signs partnership agreement with Harmony Co. of Vietnam

Business alliance strengthens JMap presence in Asia Pacific

Montreal, 3 June 2004 -- KHEOPS today announced that it has entered an agreement with Harmony Co., a software publisher and services company with offices in Hanoi and ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Under this agreement, Harmony will resell JMap as part of its integrated offer of solutions for land management and build its own extensions to the JMap core technology.

This agreement was triggered by LISH (Land Information System for Hanoi), a project jointly undertaken in 1986 by the City of Hanoi, the City of Montreal and the City Planning Institute of the University of Montreal. This project benefited from the financial support of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). KHEOPS joined the Montreal consortium in 2002 as part of LISH-Net, which is the very first e-government project in Vietnam.

"We are delighted about this partnership, says Jacques Charron, President of KHEOPS. JMap is the ideal solution to share cadastral and land information among the many stakeholders that are taking part in the great modernization effort. Harmony recognizes this and we are certain that this partnership will be mutually fruitful for both companies and for our clients in Vietnam."
