Montreal,
30 October 2006 --
Montreal, October 30, 2006 - PG Mensys and KHEOPS Technologies (KHEOPS) have signed a partnership deal for the distribution of JMap, a WEB-GIS software, and its integration with PG Mensys product line.
Thanks to JMap-SDK tools, PG Mensys have developed an extension that allows municipalities to democratize the use of spatial data and analysis tools internally for employees and elected officials as well as externally to the citizens of the municipalities.
JMap-PG will become an important component of CityAccess which already allows citizens and professionals to acces a wide range of information provided by the municipality via the internet. The addition of JMap-PG allows, among other things, spatial access to zoning, regulation, planning and the graphic matrix. These services are accessible 24 hours per day and 7 days per week, which increases the quality of the services rendered while reducing delays and related costs.
?We are very pleased about this new partnership, says Jacques Charron, President of KHEOPS. JMap is the ideal tool for sharing territorial and cadastral information between various parties in the municipal field. PG is well aware of the huge advantage JMap represents and I am certain this alliance will be a great benefit for both companies as well as for the overall community dealing in the municipal field.?
