The data for this demo comes from the City of Montreal and from DMTI Spatial Inc. They are stored in MIF format.

Use of data owned by DMTI Spatial Inc. is subject to license, as notified in the license agreement.

What software does this demo use:

This demo was built using JMap 3.1. No other software was used for this demo. No specific code has been written or utilized.

What this demo shows:

This demo presents a map of the greater Montreal area, displaying the following layers of information:

• topography,

• vegetation and parks,

• railroads,

• walking and bike trails,

• highways,

• main and secondary streets,

• train and subway stations.

Online Help  

This demo has an online help function. You can read a description of features associated with all the buttons on the toolbar and the layer bar by clicking on the help button, which is the rightmost button on the toolbar.
